I joined Pedigree Petfoods (a division of Mars GB) as a graduate trainee before moving into communications consultancy.
I have over 25 years' experience working with some of the world’s best known global corporations advising on reputation, the effective implementation of multi market strategies, CEO counsel and crisis and issues management. I have led programmes to refresh, reposition and introduce brands to multiple markets together with successful employee engagement platforms.
Following a successful UK consultancy career I was appointed CEO of Weber Shandwick Asia Pacific, responsible for 12 markets across the region. In addition to successful P&L management I led two consultancy mergers during my time in the region.
I then joined Huntsworth PLC as Business Development Director working on identification of affiliates and potential acquisition targets in the UK, Middle East and Asia. The successful integration of acquisitions was an important aspect of my role and I worked in partnership with the Group CEO during an active period of M&A.
This was followed by four years as CEO of Grayling UK & Ireland focussing on building the visibility and reputation of the consultancy, driving the new business process and engaging new senior talent to help shape the agency for the future. I was also a member of the Grayling International Board.
